Description
This was another of my entries into the 17th Int'l. Miniature Show. The shape was obtained by increasing and decreasing brick stitch. The net is a free-form netting stitch and has "caught" the mermaid, an old coin, fish, pearls, and shells. The blues and greens represent the waves; and the sand and brown colors represent the beach. This basket took approximately 1-2 months to finish.
