Oh, wow, this is so gnarled and exotic. I go crazy when I see gnarled wood. I spend a summer on Kauai and really loved all the gorgeous plants. like/fav

Thanks, Veikko! This was in the jungle (rain forest) & it was a gigantic vine twisted on itself. I think the bromeliad was growing out of it...
